Marold Herald #62: September 12, 2022

Hello Heralders!!!!

I hope that you all have a lovely day and a nice week! I hope whatever would benefit you most finds you in the upcoming days, whether that's rest or a challenge or inspiration or something else.

Meet my dad's new Boxer puppy, Bayou! I went with to get him on Saturday and stayed over to help my dad with the first night. Unfortunately, he had to put down both of his dogs in the past month or so, one because of health complications in old age and one because of an untreatable cancer that's rarely seen in dogs so young. We would have preferred to have seen Blue through a long, healthy life rather than welcome a new dog, but it sadly wasn't in the cards I guess.

I'm getting my wisdom teeth out this week (well, two of them, since I got the bottom two out when I was 16 and they gave me a medication I am allergic to and it just wasn't a Great Time so hopefully this goes better, though I did talk to the dental place about the fact that I have a tic disorder this time around and can't exactly will myself into staying still anymore and they don't give you anything more than local numbing unless you're in a position to shell out 600 dollars for the IV anaesthetic to be put under, to which I received a very unconvincing "you'll probably be fine, the oral surgeon goes fast anyways" so my hopes are not very high) and my nephew is turning fourteen. Fourteen! Wild. I remember the morning he was born like it was just fourteen years ago......
